About the Provider & Experience

I am 35 years old, married and have two boys; ages 13 & 16, of my own.  I am originally from PA, where I grew up and lived until August of 1997, when I moved to Colorado.  My first year in Colorado I didn't work; I stayed home to help my boys adjust to our new state.  After the first year I had a neighbor, who knew I was home all day ask me to watch her children while she worked.  So I did and before I knew it I had others asking me and that is when I decided to get licensed for Child Care.  I got my license on June 24, 1999.  I started attending classes to improve the care I provide.

I am currently Director qualified for a center and am working toward obtaining my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy caring for children and want to provide the best quality care.

I have cared for many children over the years, even prior to being a licensed Child Care Provider.  Since I was old enough to "baby-sit", I have taken care of children, for friends, family and parents who needed care while they worked.  I have cared for 93 different children from 39 different families over the years.

Some of the things that I enjoy when I have spare time are: spending time with my family, watching movies, reading, and building web pages; I even made this a side business to help when my ratios are down in my child care, which isn't often.
